Dumb Me




Okay, I'm dumb. For I can't solve a single Primary 6 maths sum. I went for the tuition directed by jaz today. And to my suprise, tat girl is from RGS and the maths question really stunned me. The mother mentioned that she wants a tutor that can solve the questions that she dun know how to do with her and to motivate her. But the fact is tat I know none of the answers! I am confident to teach pri maths fundementals but not those tough questions tat requires logic and high IQ.

So I told the mother that I really can't help her child and she better get another tutor for this assignment. She mentioned that her husband friend who is a sec sch maths teacher and currently studying master in mathematics could not even help her daughter and hence she wish tat I can recommend some ppl i now so she can save the searching. I wanted to recommend yu wei who is majoring in maths but jaz mentioned that she's not free. So I suggested to her my brother. And ya, whenever I faced those tough maths questions, I will always find my bro and ask him to solve for me.

In the end, I went back home with the 3 questions that I can't solve (for 1hr) and let my bro solve it for me. He solved them in 10 mins... -_-''' Tats embarassing... I'm glad that the mother is willing to hire my bro instead even tough he's not an undergraduate (JC2) and he has got no teaching experience. And wats more? The fee is $25++ per hr, a rare rate for a pri student. (of course, its a challenging 1)

The parents are very kind, they gave me $25 for my trip there even though I did not teach their child a single question! I felt so bad so I rejected them. But they kept insisting me to keeping them and finally i accepted. Come to think of it now, I shall ask my bro to return the money to them during the next lesson. The money doesn't belongs to me. I don't deserve them.
