Busy Days



This Fri I applied for leave to go sit for the SPH scholarship exam. The exam was quite difficult especially the one which requires us to identify the mistakes in the sentences. It seems like the sentence was perfect..Lol, So I juz anyhow edit based on my "sixth sense" lor.

After went home to rest a while before meeting Joce, Chen and wee chien for dinner at Swenson around six plus. Chen permed her hair, got the Barbie doll Look,Lol. Recently she also rent a house veri near my place, Ha ha.. Had a great time, not oni becoZ of the chatting but the laughing at wc... :)

Sat, Me, Yw, Sj, Beatrice and her friends went suntec convention centre to go for several NTU talks. I'm interested in the business and mass comm schools but I really scared tat my result can't get me in there. The date of release of result should be coming veri soon..Haix,dun wan to think abt it, afraid to think abt it...

Then todae gotta start doing my korean Hw liao...Haix...

Todae is Joce birthday! Wan to celebrate wif her but I can't. Lol, must give the time to her bf ma.. =P

Actually today is not a suitable day for single like me to go out but no choice lar, got to sign contract plus go to familarise my working location.

Happy Birthday to everyone! Coz todae is the 7th of lunar calender, meaning its "Ren Ri". And also wanna wish Joce an early happy birthday! =)

Juz finished my hw. At first I dun even noe how to start doing coz the whole book oni got korean words! I dun even understand wat the instructions mean. But fortunately, me being clever, managed to finish it le. Spent the whole morning to arrange and prepare my notes. Come to think of it, the hw actually quite easy...

Chat wif wee chien for duration of 2 hrs via sms... haix, my money... But nvm la, long time nv chat wif him le. He's also learning foreign language, but its Japanese. Lol, so nxt time I can teach him Korean and he can teach my Jap.. =P

Oh, tommor i gotta go sign contract for my new job le. Its also an admin job located at Bradell. Though its oni 6.50 per hr but nvm la, got work better than no work slacking at home... Will start work on mon...

Ann Yeong Ha Seyo!




Lol, yesterday I signed up the basic Korean Language Course at BP community centre. Though its 105 dollars but i still think its quite reasonable. Coz there will be 12 lessons 1.5 hrs each. If u were to calculate, tat will be 1 lesson less than 8 dollars.

Todae is my 1st lesson. Got there around 8pm. The class consist of ard 10 students. 4 teenagers including me, a 8 yr old kid and the rest r aunties. Our teacher is a pretty korean lady.

Then we got to learn the korean vowels and staff. Then also have to write out our korean names all by ourself. Lol, I got 98% of my characters rgt, not becoz I'm clever, its becoz my name is easy to translate.

I made friends wif the other 3 ppl. 1 gal studying econs in NUS yr 3, 1 gal frm PJC waiting for A's and 1 guy studying medicine in NUS yr 2.

Then, tat guy walk me to the busstop. Dun think too much, lol, coz he oni happen to be going the same direction as me. Got to chat wif him along the way, find tat he's quite nice, dun have the nerdy look at all. He's previously frm ACJC though he also dun look like those Ang Mo Sect.

Juz by looking at him, u will nv guess tat he's a future doctor. Ha ha. He even laughed at me saying tat I'm veri "suay" todae having to miss two 187 bus before I reached the busstop.

Umm, I decided le. Must try my best to woo this "future doc"... Ha ha, juz kidding. =P

Overall, I think I did benefitted from this course. It's not only for my interest, it also serve as a form of self-upgrading. No matter wat, U nv noe one day u may have to use it in the future. Nevertheless, I can get know of friends wif similar interest. (Like 1 gal Philine who is also a K-drama fan like me.. =) )

Standup Comedy



Many of us wont noe wat is this, even me myself also got know of it recently. Its those american-originated style of comedy tat oni require 1 person to do the talking.

Well, My idol Dayo Wong is the sorta master of the chi-version of standup comedy. Its quite amusing de, in chi, its called 黑色幽默。。。

For e.g., this excerpt tat comes from Dayo's recent show:

斗兽棋就是告诉大家世界最低层是老鼠，老鼠之下是没有动物的，你们看见什麼小强之类的那些是食物，不是动物。然后猫是吃老鼠，狗是吃猫，所以我们建议大家猫狗一齐养，假如某天你不记得带狗粮，嘿嘿，不要紧，有只猫猫，然后豹是吃狗，老虎是吃豹，狮子吃老虎,最后，大笨像是吃狮子的。

没错，大笨像是吃狮子的，所以你们知道大象两只牙是干什麼的，叉著狮子，BBQ，象鼻呢，涂密糖咯。而最后呢，老鼠是吃大笨象，可是没人见过老鼠吃大笨象的，但不等於老鼠不吃大笨象，因为老鼠最拿手的就是「偷吃」。

Lol, u may think tat is boring & stupid, but i really like it! :) Juz wanna share wif u guys...
